Two Diamonds
A property steeped in the early 20th-century history of Luxor and some of its greatest archaeological discoveries, the Winter Palace's main building remains a unique architectural gem with old world charm while the more modern but dated "annex" building delivers a more generic guest experience. The gardens in between the two buildings offer some interesting features, such as an aviary and great views of the majestic rear facade of the main building, but the entire grounds are lacking in upkeep.
